With the urge to expand and build upon the "Shaker 1100", I put together a plan for Phase 2. This involves integration of a Windows PC with media player interface and a touch screen monitor, while maintaining the general requirements of Phase 1. Also, I began to have problems with the RF 6001bd amplifier about a year after installation and Phase 2 will include replacing it with a more recent model. Also shortly before starting the installation the bulb in the lighted on/off switch blew out so that will need to be replaced as well. Little did I know the pitfalls and problems I would encounter during Phase 2, pretty much everything that could possibly go wrong, did.

The following equipment was chosen:

* 1x Xenarc 705TSV 7" touch screen LCD
    This monitor was a mistake, I would not advise you to even think about purchasing and using it. While it's native resolution is 800x480, it is not capable of dot-for-dot display in it's native resolution even if your video adapter supports 800x480. I bought it based on online documented specs which were somewhat misleading. Smart-ass Xenarc support people seemed to be indifferent to the problem. This will provide a touch screen interface to the OQO because the OQO screen is too small and requires a stylus be used with it's screen to work.
* 1x Pyle 19" flexible gooseneck LCD mount
    Another bad choice, but I made it work.
* 1x P.I.E. FRD04-AUX input adapter
    Another purchase decision gone bad, eventually got it working properly. This will provide RCA inputs to the Shaker 500.
* 1x OQO Model 01+ UMPC
    An ultra mobile PC running Windows XP Pro. A lot of power in a tiny portable case.
* 1x Rockford Fosgate 600.1bd (2006) mono amplifier
    I ordered the 2005 model (it was pictured and described as such on product page) for an exact replacement and they sent me this so I went with it.
* 1x Radio Shack lighted 12v toggle switch
    An exact replacement to turn on/off the Soundgate adapter, stiffening cap, amplifier, Kicker KX2 crossover, LCD screen, and PC power.
* 2x 12v car accessory sockets
    The LCD screen and PC both use a car adapter and this was chosen over cutting and splicing those wires.

General items in the plan for installation:

* Replace the amplifier and lighted toggle switch.
* Install the FRD04-AUX input adapter.
* Install the Pyle gooseneck LCD mount and LCD touch screen.
* Install the PC and docking cable.
